Rubber Stars effectively remove loose soil when working in bad conditions.  Six rows are fitted as standard.

Choice of fixed centres or adjustable centres are available.

Adjustable stars can be adjusted by a winding handle to increase/decrease the gaps between the stars.

Drive mechanism is by interlocking spur gears which constantly mesh as the coils are opened and closed. 
This system is positive and trouble free. (No small drive chains which can stretch and need constant attention).

Slip Clutch protection for the drive system and motor is fitted as standard to prevent possible damage caused by stones.

Sliding Chassis allows the screen section and inspection table to move with the stars as they are adjusted.  This allows the transfer of crop from the coils to the screen to remain the same at all times.  This is critical for the prevention of damage to the tubers.
