CYCLONE DESTONER
A new cyclone destoner is now being manufactured by Tong Peal, adding to the range of destoners available with their grading and washing lines.
The cyclone concept provides more efficient stone removal than the fluidised bed system used in many installations. The potatoes enter the circulating water in the cyclone destoner where stones sink to the bottom and are collected.
The Tong Peal cyclone destoners are available from 1.2 to 3.0 metre diameter, capable of throughputs from 10 to 40 tonnes/hour and manufactured in either stainless or mild steel.
