BOX FILLING

Each screen sizer has a side delivery conveyor.  These conveyors have hinged end sections.

The end sections lower into a box - as the onions fill the box a sensor lifts the end until the horizontal position is reached.

The box moves forward a little until filled with crop - the conveyor belt stops for a short time intil the next empty box is in place - the conveyor end lowers into the box and the cycle commences.

The box feed system was Spanish made and installed by Menz Engineering.
