The 'Booster' bar is a pipe fitted inside a vegetable washer barrel which is complete with spray holes and is attached to a high pressure recirculation pump.

When crop conditions are difficult and soil is stubborn to remove from tubers then the 'booster' bar can make a big difference to the quality of cleaning by providing additional cleaning through high pressure water jets.

A 'booster' bar also has a filter elevator fitted to the side of the water tank to remove floating debris.  This prevents the recirculation pump from blocking.
