SOIL EXTRACTOR

Bulker Graders have four adjustable centre spiral coils to remove loose soil, small stones and clods.

Drive mechanism is by interlocking spur gears which constantly mesh as the coils are opened and closed. 
This system is positive and trouble free. (No small drive chains which can stretch and need constant attention).

Slip Clutch protection for the drive system and motor is fitted as standard to prevent possible damage caused by stones.

A Sliding Chassis allows the screen section and inspection table to move with the coils as they are adjusted.  This allows the transfer of crop from the coils to the screen to remain the same at all times.  This is critical for the prevention of damage to the tubers.

Rubber Stars are available in lieu of coils if required.

A conveyor with a 450mm wide belt is fitted below the soil extractor to deliver the loose soil to the side of the machine.

Each conveyor has an endless self-tracking belt, is fitted on rollers and has a reversing switch for belt direction.  The conveyor can project either or both sides of the machine.
