The popular Tong automatic box tipper gives the ideal feed system to packing machines.

A forward belt takes the onions gently and gives a consistent feed of onions to the inspection tables.

The forward belt can have an auto speed change - if there is no crop on part of the belt then it accelerates until onions reach the end of the belt - the speed then goes down to the desired inspection feed - all automatically.

With a 'freefall' exit from the box onto the forward belt any soft crop will not be squashed and so good crop is not contaminated.

The box tipper has box detection so is fully automatic and meets stringent health and safety standards.
