The Esplet washing system has two 10 ton per hour barrel washers.

'Booster bar' high pressure sprays are in the washer barrels which helps remove stubborn soil on the potatoes.

Load monitors sense the amperage of the motor and control the feed of crop into the barrels.  This ensures there is always the correct level of potatoes in the barrel to give the optimum washing.

A twenty row sponge drier 1200mm wide ensures loose moisture is removed from the tubers before entering the packing area.
