PEAL BAW5015SD Stainless Steel Mobile Carrot Washer, generally as per the latest issue of Drawing PES 4580 consisting of:A Feed Elevator 4.8 metre (15'9") long with a 750mm (2'6") wideendless cleated belt, variable speed drive, with a hopper at the base, feeding onto a Dry Infeed Cleaning Web 1.5 metre (5') long x900mm (3') wide feeding directly into a 5 metre (16'3") long x 1.5metre (5') diameter stainless steel slatted drum with a regulating outlet door on the end. 

All supported on triple strand vee belts on a heavy duty top shaft with pulleys and being driven by a heavy duty variable speed geared motor incorporating a soft start. Carrots flowing out of the rotating drum onto the Stainless Steel Elevator with an endless belt and fixed speed motor, then onto a Brush Rinse Polisher 10 brushes long 1200mm (4') wide, variable speed heavy duty chain and sprocket drive.  Mounted over the brushes are fresh water spray nozzles fed by a pump requiring connection to a clean water supply.

All the above mounted in a common tank with a central screw to remove soil, conveying it to a side scraper and lifting it out of the tank into a skip.  The soil removal screw and side scraper are on a timer so, in between loads or at the end of the day, these can run on to continue removing soil as it settles.  The tank is fitted with twin wheels and draw bar.  (No braking or lighting). 

Complete with screw levelling jacks and an end Cross Conveyor 3.6 metre(11'10") long x 600mm (2') wide to feed directly onto the Box Filler. All motors wired to one point.  600 volts (nominal 575), 3 phase,60Hz plus earth.  Serial No 02086. (Manufactured in stainless steel means the main body etc, not the motors, drives, bearings, axles, scraper chain, sprockets and pulleys.  We will fit steel self lube bearings in nickel plated housing - as stainless steel have no strength or wear capabilities).
