This is the barrel of a typical vegetable washing machine, manufactured in perforated stainless steel with heavy duty support rings and is the heart of the machine.

The Tong Peal expertise and experience in producing high quality vegetable washing equipment has be gained over almost twenty five years.

The barrel is suspended on heavy duty triple vee belts and has rubber tubing bolted to the inside which turns the crop and moves it through the barrel. 

It is this gentle turning which causes the crop to rub together in the water and creates efficient cleaning.

Strong pulleys hold the barrel in-line and prevent any lateral or longitudinal movement.

The fixed speed motor powers the driveshaft which has heavy duty triplex pulleys.
